ABOUT THE STORYTELLER
My Name is JD Caste, though most people call me Castle or Yeezus because of my social media account – TheRealSlimYeezus. I am a storyteller and avid creator of fiction, a preserver of myths and history. I have worked in media and marketing for the better part of 15 years, and I love to entertain and to educate. Podcasts and books are my favorite mediums, but I love YouTube for what it has allowed us to do.
A FAMILY OF STORYTELLERS
I come from an old family of Seanchai. My grandfather and his line have spent centuries preserving our stories, and I hope to carry on that bold and proud tradition. Most of what will be shared here is based on family lore and history. Most of them are handed down directly and do not have a publicly available citation, so you can take everything you read here as heretical traditions or fun mythology. Just come and enjoy the stories from a storyteller that loves to share in the adventure and mystery.
CREED OF A STORYTELLER
The goal is to give those who have lost their roots a place to come and find some connection as well as to have works that are built on the foundations our ancestors laid down. I live each day pushing myself to be better, ensuring that my capacity grows to reach the extents of my ability. I was raised to live to a standard and also to set that standard higher for myself.
The blog is focused around mythology with extended or clarified information on my videos as well as extended extrapolations of my podcasts!
